The Frugé family of companies, consisting of the J.T. Meleck Distillers, Frugé Seafood and Cajun Crawfish, is
seeking a full-time marketing director to serve all three brands. The new position of Director of Marketing will be
responsible for leading the development, implementation, and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy
across multiple brands. The Marketing Director will report to the Founder of the Family of Frugé Companies.
The position demands an energetic, go-getting self-starter who understands and has experience in marketing and
advertising. The Director of Marketing must be professional, detail-oriented, well-organized, deadline-driven, and
budget-conscious, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in B2B, B2C and Ecommerce is essential. A creative mindset is required to drive the creation of content
for the brands and uniquely differentiate each in the marketplace. An entrepreneurial mind is required to work
within the company culture.

The Director of Marketing must be comfortable driving results. Our brands cover multiple marketing disciplines,
experience in a CPG brand, some e-commerce experience, and an understanding of B2B marketing are highly
valuable.
The Director of Marketing is most successful when driving growth. Standard of measurement is different for each
of the three brands: online sales for Cajuncrawfish.com; brand awareness and product sales for J.T. Meleck; and
increased engagement and sales for Frugé Seafood.
The establishment of a marketing plan, implementation of key marketing strategies, marketing support structure
and effective measurement and reporting will also be a main consideration of the success of the position in year 1.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
● Work collaboratively with leadership to develop an annual marketing plan for each of the primary three
Frugé brands based on the companies’ overall strategic business goals
● Drive revenue and engagement targets for customer lifecycle marketing through lead generation, lead
conversion, upsell, retention and reactivation programs
● Establish performance metrics with leadership
● Work with Sales Manager to make sure that marketing is effectively supporting sales
● Establish and manage the marketing budget
Marketing Management & Implementation
● Assemble a marketing team to support the goals of the business, whether through internal or external
resources
● Provide leadership and oversight to the marketing team
● Evaluate team performance and ensure accountability
● Responsible for the use of tools and technology to integrate marketing and sales
● Maintain all marketing assets and files

● Provide oversight of all multi-channel marketing, including social platforms, email marketing, influencer
marketing and traditional advertising
● Enable operational excellence to ensure centrally designed marketing programs are scaled globally
● Provide oversight of all website management
● Oversee all digital and traditional marketing activities for brand
● Monitor messaging and audience response across channels
Creative Direction
● Provide creative direction for the development of advertising campaigns and content for the brand
● Review and approve creative, production materials, copy and layouts
● Ensure that graphic and branding standards are met in all generated work
Public Relations
● Direct and lead any public relations initiatives on behalf of the brand
● Serve as ambassador of brands
Research
● Collaborate with market researchers and analysts to gather customer insights
● Provide analysis of competitors' advertising and branding activities
Performance Management
● Demonstrate ability to make data-driven decisions, and study data analytics related to campaigns
● Deliver results and key insights to leadership monthly
● Host monthly marketing meetings, participate in weekly staff meetings and other internal and external
meetings as requested
Requirements:
● 5-7 years’ experience in communication, marketing or related field
● Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations or other related field
● Experienced strategic leader with the ability to work in a complex, fast-moving, high growth organization
with proven results
Skills and Qualifications:
● Practical knowledge of social media marketing in the B2B & B2C environment
● Experience developing creative content and multi-channel campaigns
● Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
● Experience overseeing management of website
● Experience providing oversight of email marketing programs
